Searching #75 Google and Beyond

1. After four queries Google won twice, Yahoo won twice and zero for Bing. The search results were similar so it was hard to choose a favorite. I'll stick with Google in the future because it's familiar and comfortable, like my fuzzy blue slippers.

2. Google was #1 on Hitwise for January 9, with 71% share. Yahoo had a measly 14% and Bing only 7%.

3. Continuing in my rut, I explored Google's features and discovered if you type "define" before a word it will give you the definition. If you enter a math problem Google will turn itself into a calculator and give you the answer. It has a decent translator. Google Docs will process your words, store them and allow others to edit and collaborate. Google Read lets you to choose the news you want to read each day. It really is quite amazing.
