I like the idea of a giant database encompassing libraries worldwide with features used by Google and Amazon and available to the public. It worries me though that into this mix of information might creep unreliable sources and that the volume of sources will overwhelming.
I hope I live to see Wendy Schultz's vision of Library 4.0 which "will add a new mode, knowledge spa: meditation, relaxation, immersion in a luxury of ideas and thought...a WiFREE space, a retreat from technohustle, with comfortable chairs, quiet, good light, coffee and single malt. "
